Years Racing: 12 * Bike Brand/Size: Yamaha/125cc * Class: Ladies A
Highest National Rank: 10th (2010)
Samantha started racing at the age of 7 on Tuesday Night Mini Motos at our local track on an old CT70. When she finally got a "real" motoX bike, she started racing the 65cc, 85cc, SuperMini & Ladies classes - sharing the bike with her brother. In 2012, she raced the entire National circuit, Ladies Pro Class in the West and Ladies Amateur in the East.
In 2011, she had both a good and a bad year. She led the Ladies A class in the SOAB Spring Series when she broke her wrist in May. She ended up finishing 2nd in the SOAB and 1st in the Super Series. She was not able to race the Women's National rounds, but was back in action for the fall races finishing 1st in the SOAB and Super Series.
2012 saw Samantha placing 1st or 2nd in the 4 SOAB races. Samantha started a new job and missed more than 1/2 the races, but managed to finish 5th overall. She raced the WRMA, Spring and Fall Super Series placing no worse than 2nd in any moto she entered.
Samantha's 2013 goals are to participate in all WRMA Spring and Fall Super Series, AMSA Regional Races and Western Nationals. She plans to be competitive and to continue finishing at or near the top 10.
